Troubleshooting Common Digital Planner Issues

Quick fixes for common digital planner problems.

Digital planners are usually seamless, but occasionally you might run into issues. Here's how to troubleshoot the most common problems.

1. Hyperlinks Not Working

Problem: Clicking links doesn't navigate to other pages.
Solution: Make sure you're using a compatible app (GoodNotes, Notability, Xodo). Some apps don't support PDF links. Try opening the file in a different app.

2. PDF Loading Slowly

Problem: The planner takes forever to load.
Solution: PDFs with 365+ pages can be large. Close other apps to free up memory. If the problem persists, try importing the PDF again or restarting your device.

3. Handwriting Looks Jagged

Problem: Your handwriting appears pixelated or rough.
Solution: Lower the pen thickness in your app settings. Also, make sure palm rejection is enabled so your hand doesn't create accidental marks.

4. Stickers Won't Import

Problem: Can't add stickers to the planner.
Solution: Make sure the sticker files are in PNG format with transparent backgrounds. Use the image import tool, not the pen tool.

5. Can't Find a Specific Day

Problem: Navigation feels confusing.
Solution: Use the index page to jump to any month. From the monthly view, click the date to jump to the daily page. Practice navigating a few times to get familiar.
